ABOUT me

Hey! I’m Graeme. I’ve been DJing at alternative weddings, as well as landmark birthdays and other events for about 15 years. And I absolutely love it.

I spent my early DJ years playing clubs, bars and festivals but when friends began getting married, I started getting booked for sets at their weddings.  So I took my club mixing style and eclectic record collection and started figuring out what I would want from a wedding DJ set. My aim is always to try and make a wedding set feel more like a festival set or a house party for mates.

Keeping it interesting is key, mixing up genres when the time is right so nobody in the room feels left out. Always keeping an eye on the crowd and reacting to the what people are feeling. I’m always reading the room (and the bride and groom).

I love getting couples or clients playlists and building a set, joining the musical dots between what they’re really into, and my favourite dance floor smashers. Blending funk & hip-hop, indie disco bangers, mixing soul with rock, reggae with drum and bass, house music with rock n roll and making new connections between different genres. Finding interesting blends of all the different music that I love. Finding new tunes, and sharing with people on the decks has been a massive part my life for as long as I can remember, and I feel lucky to keep doing it. Check out my mixes and testimonials to get a feel for what I do.

I’ve worked with two of the countries largest alternative wedding agencies as a DJ and booking agent since 2011, and in that time I’ve crystalised what it takes to make a wedding dancefloor go off . During the  planning and preparation stages I’ll do all I can to fill you with confidence and reassure by being a calm, knowledgeable and supportive presence.

I’m based in Herefordshire, so close to Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff and easy access to the West, the Cotswolds and the Midlands but I gig all over and I’m always happy to travel if you think I could be the right DJ for you. From working with the agencies I have a wide network of DJs I can put you in touch with if I’m not available, and if you want live musicians I can help with that too.

Drop me a message and we can arrange a chat about music and what you want for your reception.
